Jessie Napangardi Simpson was born in 1954 in Tennant Creek. She spent most of her life in Ali Curung. She has belongs to the Warlpiri and Warumungu people. She started painting at Arlpwe art centre in 2010. Her work depicts colourful landscapes and bush tucker.
